Every New Adventure Has a Beginning

This is it. This is the beginning to my new adventure. Thank you for sharing it with me! My hopes and dreams for this blog are simple, really. I just want to share my love of all things crafty, cross stitchy, and fun with the world. I don't know where this blog will take me, but does anyone really know where their adventure is going?

A little bit about me and mine:

Craftyness is a part of me, it's in my blood. My mom taught me everything from embroidery and cross stitch to knitting and crochet. My mom is an avid quilter and expert seamstress. She taught me how to do it all. And you know what? I fell in love with it all. ALL. If you ask my husband, he'll tell you that no one really needs to have an entire room dedicated to crafting. I just laugh and buy more crafty stuff to put in my crafting room. He, unfortunately, doesn't share my love of crafting. Bless his heart, though, he puts up with all my crazy crafting. Now that my girls are older, 13 and 9, they have joined in my craziness. They even help me design some patterns for the Etsy shop. Here's some examples of what my kids have designed. The oldest did Chicken and Waffles and The Little One did Eggs and Bacon. Adorable, right?

I love my girls. They are the best. Now, if only I could get them to clean the house. They spend all their time on my computer designing patterns.
